CONGRATULATIONS TO LEICESTER
THE EUROPEAN CUP CHAMPIONS 2001
Brewery giant Heineken were once again the sponsor of the European Cup.
Two points were awarded for a win, one for a draw. The six pool winners and two best-placed runners-up qualified for the quarter-finals. The best runners-up were the teams with the highest number of points in the pools.
